Hey everyone, it's been a while again since I last posted to my journal.
I recently did a complete overhaul to my website to tailor it as a portfolio. If you're curious, you can see it here: tigrin.net
I've also kept myself busy recently doing all sorts of projects, like making music videos. @_@ If you've seen Big Hero 6 and are interested in music videos, you can see one I made here: [link]
Also, a game I worked on, Pillars of Eternity, will be released on March 26th. When it comes out I'll probably post some of the artwork I did for the game. Pillars is an old-fashioned CRPG based on the Infinity Engine games of the 90s. I'm not much of a hardcore RPG player, but I enjoyed both working on and playing this game a lot. If you like traditional fantasy settings and novels, or carefully crafting RPG characters, you will probably love this game.
That being said, I recently lost my job at Obsidian, so I'm looking into new places to go. In the meantime, I'm keeping myself busy with various projects. I might be re-opening commissions soon if I run out of things to do while job hunting; I'll definitely let you guys know if and when I open up. I enjoy doing commissions because it gives me a chance to draw all sorts of different characters and push the quality of my work.
Anyway, hope things have been going well for everybody!

Everything changes, everything stays the same
Hey guys, not sure who's still around here but I thought I'd do an update anyway.
A few months ago I moved away from home for the first time for a new job up in San Francisco. I'm working on the new South Park game, which felt very familiar from the moment I first sat down with it... I did spend a few years on the first game, after all. Still, the move is a big change for me, and work and commuting and the battle to keep my apartment clean take up a majority of my time now... but I'm still trying to use my free time to stay creative, even if my creative output is scattered all over the place between writing, AMVs, and art.

Commissions are still open!
Commissions are still open! Find more info at my website: http://tigrin.net/commissions
Thanks to everyone who has commissioned me so far! I really have fun with it and every little bit helps.
Commissions are now open!
Thanks everyone who gave me advice about commissions, I very much appreciate it!
I've recently opened commissions and put together a website that shows my current queue, as well as all my information and pricing. If you're interested, please check it out! Thank you!
Sorry, I do not accept DeviantArt points. I'm taking commissions to stave off my inevitable bankruptcy as I continue to improve my animation and look for a job. Can't pay my student loans with DeviantArt points.
Commission advice
Cross-posted to Tumblr.
Hey guys. I’m looking at opening commissions sometime soon… unfortunately it’s been over four years since I last took a commission, and some things have changed since then. I’m looking for advice from either people who also take commissions, or who have purchased commissions from others. How are you pricing commissions/what price mark are you buying commissions at? What types of commissions do you offer/would you like to purchase? How do you prefer to send or receive money? How do you advertise commissions/how do you find artists to commission? Any other advice?

Sorry to hear about Obsidian, but I am glad to see your name pop up in the DA feed more often! It's nice to see names again from waybackwhen. I hope you find something awesome really soon, at least you'll have time to work on personal stuff for a bit! Best of luck.
