yaay, it's finally finished! I've been working on this in my drawing class the past two weeks. I had to piece this together from 6 scans, so, it's a little fuzzy in some places... sorry, best I could do.

anyway, this was an idea that's been brewing in my head for a couple months... It's supposed to be somewhat abstract and I wasn't trying to copy Jhonen's style... I don't want to explain everything but Johnny's supposed to sort of be "melting" into the blood..drippy...bloodness... coming out from around the borders of the picture. but hopefully you look at it long enough to figure out stuff on your own.

this is my first attempt at doing a large ink piece, that's sorta why it took so long, was experimenting... the background is ink washes.. a lot of the detail was done with brushpen and then redone with ink and a nib pen; brushpen ink doesn't dry completely black for some reason (god I'm so anal)... and a lot of the border and such is brushed-on ink. all ink. it's inky. yay. done on illustration board... I think the size is 20" high by 15" wide.

That's so awsome that I can't describe it cuz I'll sound all stupid and stuff. So, I'll just leave it as awsome. And I love the hair, and I REALLY love his right hand.

mweee. as i said earlier, it's very awesome. i like the different shadings and how it's all black, white, or gray... the blood... spewy... stuff....... is a really nice touch. did i mention how much i like his face? i really like his face. o.o good job! ^_^
