this is the most you're going to get out of me.

if you pass this off as just some "oh, i'veneverhadaboyfriendboohoo" angst...... screw you.

edit: since people still don't seem to get it. THIS IS NOT BOYFRIEND ANGST. just said that. oh geezus. there are a lot of other people you can love besides the opposite sex. Valentine's Day is about love in general, not just your "Boy". this is more about loving someone deeply - ANYONE - and being torn between your hatred for the hurt they've caused you, and the hatred you have for yourself.

OMG!!! THREE DAYS GRACE !!! I love them...I saw a show of theirs and talked to them on the phone.. they are coming back and i'm soooo excited!! I Love this picture too!! Its a fav!!! I love the bleeding heart and the barbed wires on the ears..and how there aren't any eyes..just empty sockets. great job!

aw, but it's GOOD angst! i reeeeally like this, the cat looks kind of sad and angry at the same time.

the lack of eyes and the hunched over-ness add to the over all ashamed/sad quality of the picture.

i like it lots :D

plus, the blood actualy looks like real blood (which i have trouble doing) :thumbsup:

VERY artfully done! It's fantastically drawn with a humungous sense of emotion to be felt in the portrayal of the cat. Little touches like the barbed wire, the bleeding heart, and the empty eyesockets add so much to the effect. The cat's head looks like a skull, but at the same time looks full and living. Very cool!

Ok everyone, sing along, emphasis on the k's! I love that song. I remember an old teacher saying something along the lines of "The ones we remiss we most wanna kiss." I wouldn't go so far as to say we'd like to kiss those particular people, but they probably stay with us the longest, seeing as to how human memory tends to bind most to negative experiences.

I really do love this this piece. There is so much depth and emotion within it, even though it is mostly a bust. I love how you've managed to convey so much emotion, even without the actually eyes of the creature present. The lack of colors certainly adds to the feeling. This most definitely deserves a favorite.
