some detour... augh, so tired... felt kind of guilty lately that I'm not finishing anything besides school work.. so...

anyway. I figure the story of this might branch off the previous picture I did, where Sora and Simba are out talking... Simba takes Sora to the little pond to look at his reflection. Sora is maybe hoping to see Kairi or Riku, but instead just sees his own reflection. disappointed, he backs away. Simba nudges him to take another look, and his reflection morphs into someone very familiar that he doesn't recognize.

yrr. working on these fanarts has been very inspiring... kind of makes me want to write a fanfic or make a comic or... something, but I know that's kind of stupid, so I guess I'll just leave it at these random pieces of art. this is how I would have liked to have seen the creators of Kingdom Hearts 2 explore the Lion King world... I think the themes of TLK could have gone so well with, and reached so deeply into, Sora's story and what was going on... at least there's always imagination to create what that might have been. *shrug* like Roxas lion. totally pulled that right out of my butt.

I have to apologize for the quality of the linework. I had to do it all digitally, with a tablet pen that kind of skips. so doing anything smoothly was just not happening. ah well. hope you guys enjoy anyway. I had a lot of fun with and enjoyed working on this.
