The movement is very lively, I like how the head bobs a bit later than the footsteps, and the ears twitch before the jump, nice touch.

Very smoothly done, I like that the jumping character retained a constant size. I would have trouble with that!
Excellent work!

I really like how different the characters' movements are.

The jumping one (Vamp?) Is more cocky and jerky than the one lying down. It tells a lot about the situation. :D

I like the stylization in the legs your recent(ish?) stuff seems to have, too.

its very nicely done and drawn. The floor level for the character seems to keep changing though, maybe it would have been better to draw a path for it.

I really hate cleanup too. It takes so much time, especially the more detailed the character, it doesnt feel like you'll ever finish to meet a deadline.

you can tell I want nothing to do with backgrounds, I'm too lazy even to draw a line for the floor most of the time XD would have helped a great deal.

If you can get into quicktime pro you can save as and make it a .mov file. They are much smaller than AVIs. :)

Yeah, but some people can't play .mov files. =\ I usually save them as AVIs since that's more universal.

Oh yeah. A critique on your jump. Remember your 12 principles. I would squash it a LOT more when your character goes all the way down. The three frames of pausing before the jump also can be removed to give it that more springy feeling.
