Another project for Animation III... we had to write and record our own dialogue and animate two characters for 20 seconds. I wrote the dialogue, and two students from Animation I (Camille's voice is *Reich ) did the voices for me. This actually isn't the whole dialogue, there are still a couple lines left, but this is what I managed to finish by the end of the semester. I am hoping to continue working on this and get it nice and finished to use as a portfolio piece.
Here's the dialogue:
Eloi: So, when the body is heated, it emits radiant infrared energy; but any visible energy is absorbed up until the body becomes red-hot! To measure the range of emission frequencies across a spectrum, he--
Camille: Devised a formula revealing the quantization of energy, the beginning of quantum theory.
Eloi: Oh? You're interested in quantum energy?
Camille: Oh, sure! Just not yours.
If anyone actually knows what they're talking about, I'll be really impressed.
edit: UGH the DivX version of this looks like crap... it's so choppy and stiff... the downloaded version loads a little better, but here it is on YouTube, too: [link] lower quality but runs better. ugh.
@00:20Wow, I love this! The movements are all so fluid and natural. Are you interested in pursuing animation, I could see you doing it . I'm curious, what programs did you use, and did you use paper first?
Thank you! I just recently earned my BFA in animation, so yeah, I am interested. I animated this all on paper and used a program called Flipbook to shoot it with a camera.
That's so awesome =3. I want to become an animator and plan go to a night tafe coure just to see if I have the talent for it Can you download Flipbook? or do you have to buy it?
Very nice.
